Hounslow is a large suburban district of West London, England, 10+3⁄4 miles west-southwest of Charing Cross. It is the administrative centre of the London Borough of Hounslow, and is identified in the London Plan as one of the 14 metropolitan centres in Greater London. Hounslow is a family-orientated borough but it's lower than average house prices are attracting more and more young professionals. Hounslow also delivers on entertainment, with an admirable selection of restaurants, bars, and shops, and is even home to no less than five stately homes.
